Our Commitment to Community & Welfare
Service is at the heart of everything we do. We have pioneered several initiatives to ensure healthcare reaches the most vulnerable.
Mobile Outreach Eye Care Unit
Funded by “Light for the World,” this first-of-its-kind project in Arunachal Pradesh delivers free eye care services to the doorsteps of needy patients in Papumpare and surrounding districts. In the 2018-2019 period alone, we conducted 31 camps and screened 5,567 patients.
General Medical Camps
Our medical teams regularly travel to remote locations like Tawang, Chayangtajo, and Manigong to conduct multi-specialty health camps, providing free consultations, medicines, and surgical screenings. In a single camp at Lumla & Tawang, we benefited over 900 patients.
Sarada Mother & Child Welfare Scheme
To support new mothers from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, we provide a special wellness packet. This packet contains essential nutritional items for the mother, a baby blanket, and hygiene products. Since its inception, thousands of mothers have benefited from this scheme, with 814 beneficiaries in 2018-2019.
Free & Concessional Services
A significant portion of our services are provided free of cost or at highly subsidized rates. Across all departments—from radiology and dialysis to surgery and OPD consultations—we ensure that financial constraints never become a barrier to receiving quality medical care.
Education & Empowerment: The School of Nursing
Established in 1985, our School of Nursing offers a three-year diploma course in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), primarily for the tribal girls of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Recognized Excellence: The school is recognized by both the Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council and the Indian Nursing Council.
- Empowering Women: To date, 188 nurses have successfully graduated. Many are serving in government hospitals across Arunachal Pradesh, while some have achieved placements in prestigious hospitals abroad.
